Sail Away - A Fused Glass Workshop for Kids ($50)

This super fun class has been specifically designed for children and will allow students to design and create 2 sailboat themed glass panels. Students will design colourful sailing boats with billowing sails that will be displayed on 1 mini wooden easel. They will use pre-cut glass shapes to help create their designs. These will be fired off site and will be available to collect the following week. During the lesson, they will experiment and explore using a variety of glass types, shapes and arrangements. They can surface decorate their boats and sails with liquid glass enamel, glass paint and granulated glass frit. The fused glass panels can be displayed on a wooden easel for all to enjoy. These classes are led by an experienced glass artisan and will take place in a safe and structured learning environment.
