About the event

This workshop will introduce you to making polymer clay food with an overview of tools, materials and processes, showing you how to make a range of miniature items, ideal as a gift or special keepsake for someone.

• Introduction to model making with an overview of tools, materials and processes.

• Learn the basics of working in polymer clay to make miniature food, including shaping, texturing and colouring with soft pastels.

• Learn how to make realistic bread, including individual slices and butter.

• Use your completed bread to create a mini scene by adding your choice of plates, bread boards, butter dishes (with butter) and knives; or create a fridge magnet or wearable brooch instead.

Recommended for beginners or intermediate crafters looking for something different.

All materials and equipment provided

Workshop involves glue, sharp implements and use of an oven
