Beginners Learn to Knit Workshop for Children ($60 for two sessions)

This two class workshop will offer children aged 8-16 years the opportunity to learn how to knit. The lessons are designed to give students the opportunity to practise what they have learnt in the first session for a week before meeting again with the tutor in the second session. Held on Tuesdays 6 and 13 January, the class will feature small numbers and individual tuition for the beginner knitters. Students will learn how to cast on and make basic stitches. Students will need to bring a pair of 4 mm knitting needles and one ball of 8ply yarn (acrylic or wool is fine). These items can be sourced at the local dollar shops or Spotlight.
