Creating with fabric has been an important part of my life since making and designing my own clothes as a 12 year old. I discovered quilting in my early fifties and transitioned to the world of textile art in more recent years. I started sewing using a treadle machine, which I still own and value, to now using a top range computerised sewing machine. I especially enjoy creating with textiles where its unclear what the outcome may become. I have had my quilts and creations displayed in offices and public places and have been fortunate to have many recognised with awards in a variety of settings.
