Alice Blue is a Brisbane based artist who creates intuitive abstract artworks that reflect her creative English upbringing.

Her London childhood was immersed in art with drawing around the kitchen table and frequent visits to galleries, gardens and exhibitions.

Alice moved to Brisbane and started to paint intuitive, free spirited works following her study of intuitive painting. Her philosophy that art making or viewing is important to wellbeing led her to complete a Diploma in Art Therapy.  She facilitates art workshops for adults to explore the benefits of art.

Inspiration for her colourful, spontaneous and patterned artwork comes from nature, the bayside and from working as an Art Teacher in Early Childhood.

Alice has several artworks available for licensing, recently winning a prize in the Royal Queensland Art Society’s ‘Materially Designed’ Exhibition.
