The Artists of Scattered Arts

Carolyn Morgan -  Painter

Drawing from memory and imagination rather than presenting a literal interpretation has become the hallmark of Carolyn's approach to painting. Beginning with a blank canvas, Carolyn paints intuitively, waiting for the place to reveal itself through shapes, textures or lines that appear during the creative process. This approach allows a level of freedom from the original context, capable of taking the viewer on an almost mythical journey filled with light and colour.

Maria Field - Watercolour Painter

Self-taught Brisbane artist and chocoholic, Maria began her love affair with art at the age of 5 when she received a 36 colour paint box which became her most treasured possession. Maria delights in creating colourful, clean, transparent watercolours, loving the challenge of the exhilarating medium with her work encompassing many subjects.
